Several years ago Scott Lawton conducted a symphonic concert of Latin American music in the Munich Philharmonic Hall. The Radio Orchestra from Pilsen (Czech Republic) played, and soloists included Orsino (guitar), Christin Zacher and a remarkable dance duo from Italy. Here is a collage of the tango dance scenes: (in this case, the concert isn't "news", but this video clip first appeared on Youtube a few weeks ago)

For the 2006 production of "Die Fledermaus" at the theater festival in Bad Gandersheim, Lawton made a new version for six musicians. The ensemble comprised of piano, accordion, clarinet/saxophone, trumpet, bass and drums. Ten performances were presented open-air. The production was attended by around 10,000 people in the course of the summer.

Here's an MP3 of the overture, and also one of the first act trio "Nein, mit solchen Advokaten".
